Who runs the service

Night Protocol LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, operates night-protocol.com, the Night Protocol Mac app and the Night Protocol MCP server (mcp.night-protocol.com). Postal: Night Protocol LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste 11679, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Where your data lives

Accounts and platform data are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-1 region (Northern Virginia, United States).

Your clips stay on your computer

The Night Protocol Mac app sorts your media on your own computer. Clips you have not published stay there.

What assistants never see

You can connect your own assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client) to your account. It never sees:

• Accounts — no account ids or email addresses; other people appear as anonymous ids.
• Handles — other members' handles are never shown to it.
• Exact locations — distances come in bands (under 1, 1–2, 2–5, 5–10, 10–25, 25+ miles), never a place.
• Health data — none is collected. HIV, PrEP and STI details are refused.

Map links never sign anyone in

A link to a view on the map opens only for the member it was made for, after they sign in the normal way. A link never signs anyone in.

Age verification records

Every member confirms they are 18 or older. ID records collected for Age Verification are kept for 7 years, for 18 U.S.C. § 2257 record-keeping. See 2257.

Report a vulnerability

Email security@night-protocol.com with the affected address (URL, app version or MCP tool), the steps to reproduce, and what an attacker could do. Please use only your own accounts, do not access or change other members' data, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before you share it.
